We love music here at Element Coffee and if you weren’t there last friday you missed out on Consumable Products, we’ll have a recap and video from that event soon.

This Friday Sound the Sky is going to be performing at 7p. Here’s a little note from the band.  Be sure to check them out.

We’re a band based out of Camarillo called Sound the Sky, the show is from 7p-10p with band members Hannah Craver, Tony Ferrari, STS and Ryan Metier, Ryan used to be in a band called Countless Hours. We’ve been together 2 years this coming winter.

You can download any of our songs for free via www.facebook.com/soundthesky

It’s just meant to be a chill night with some talented local acts at a great coffee place I endorse and admire before the holidays really pick up :)

A huge thanks to everyone who came out for our latenight that ran from after turkey dinner all through the night as people were out braving the cold and the black friday lines.

We had a great group of people come by the store and grab some coffee late into the night.

There were robust board games, and robust laughs into the wee hours.

We’re thinking about doing some more “latenight” events.  Let us know if there’s any special reason we should do one.  Finals?  Or got a big group that just wants coffee late at night?  We can make special arrangements.

Here are a few photos from the event.  Enjoy!

We are going to try and be good little bloggers over here at Element.  We think we can, we think we can.

Look for more posts not only about what’s going on at Element, but also posts from our baristas and other special guests in the future.  If there’s anything specifically you want to read about, don’t be shy leave us a comment and let us know what that is.

On Saturday November 13th, we had Marcel Ayers from FreshCoffeeBeans.com stop by to give a home coffee roasting demonstration and answer questions about the art of roasting coffee beans.

He gave two demos and even passed out samples of the freshly roasted beans which Mike was so kind enough to brew up fresh out of the roaster.

If you want to learn more about coffee roasting at home visit FreshCoffeeBeans.com.

Check out this little video from the event.

Here’s some photos from the event as well.

We love having events here at Element. If there’s something you want to see or if you are an artist of any kind let us know and we’ll see about setting up an event.

Keep your eyes peeled for more events in the future.

Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter and Like us on Facebook. We’re sending out special deals and discounts on those accounts so check them often.

We’re thankful for each and everyone of you.  We’re here because of you and we wouldn’t exist without you.

Until next time, keep brewing.
